MT or MLT:  Family Practice Associates has a part-time opening in the lab for an MT or MLT with an X-Ray Limited Operator License or willingness to obtain one.  Job duties include phlebotomy, laboratory testing (moderately complex), x-rays, EKGs, and bone-density scans.  Interested applicants should submit a resume and letter of application to:  Dave Glover, Clinic Administrator, P.O. Medical Coder:   Full-time opening for a detail-oriented and organized certified medical coder to join our team.  This position will review and analyze medical billing and coding for processing, and accurately code office, hospital, and nursing home charges for reimbursement.   Duties will include ensuring all codes are current and active; ensuring proper coding on provider documentation; reporting missing or incomplete documentation; performing accurate charge entries; applying coding guidelines and legal requirements to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations; serving as a resource regarding insurance resolution and coding questions; additional duties as requested by management in relation to coding/billing patient accounts.   Qualified applicants should have a high school diploma (advanced degree preferred), and a medical coding certificate (RHIT or CPC by AAPC or AHIMA license); meet state requirements; and, have at least one to two years in the medical office setting.  Must have the ability to work both independently and as an active member of the team.  Strong computer skills in data entry, and knowledge of Microsoft Office and electronic medical record software.  Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.   Interested applicants should send a letter of application to:  Dave Glover, Clinic Administrator, P.O.
