How to See a Provider

At Family Practice Associates PC, we encourage our patients to make appointments. This helps us care for you more efficiently. However, we also know that when you are sick or injured, you may need to see us right away. For those times, we also welcome walk-ins.

Make an Appointment

To make an appointment with a doctor or physician assistant at Family Practice Associates, please contact our friendly staff at 308-865-2767 between 8:30 - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, or between 8:30 - noon on Saturday.


If you are an established patient, you can also request an appointment through the patient portal.

You should make appointments for:  well exams and physicals; immunizations; hospital follow-ups; routine prescription and medication checks; chronic health issues; allergy shots; routine pregnancy care; colonoscopies; other screenings and evaluations.


Note:  If you schedule an appointment and are unable to attend, please contact us at least four hours in advance.  If your appointment is in the morning, we appreciate a call as early as possible.  When someone misses an appointment and does not alert us, we are unable to use that appointment time to provide care to another patient who may have needed and benefitted from care that day.  We reserve the right to dismiss patients from our clinic if they frequently "no-show".

Walk-In Clinic

Walk-ins are welcome during our usual business hours when you need to see a doctor right away.  Walk-in care is perfect for sprains, strains, infections, minor breaks, small cuts or bleeding that may require stitches; fevers, flu and colds; asthma attacks; vomiting, diarrhea, and dehydration; severe sore throats and coughs; rashes and allergic reactions; headaches and earaches; and non-life threatening illnesses and injuries that just cannot wait for an appointment.  

Monday-Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Saturday:   8:30 am - Noon

Immediate Health Care Need After Hours? Call Us First!

If you are an established patient who has a non-life threatening health care issue that needs immediate attention, and just can't wait until office hours, CALL US FIRST!  

Family Practice Associates has a provider on-call after hours available for advice on immediate health care needs.  We can direct you to the best course of action, and help keep you out of the emergency room when it is not necessary, saving you time and money!  Just call us at 308-865-2767.

Note:  If you think you or a loved one may be having a medical emergency such as a heart attack, stroke, or serious injury, you should call 911 or go to the Emergency Room right away.
