Immediate Care for Urgent Medical Needs

When unexpected illnesses or minor injuries arise, Family Practice Associates offers immediate care visits for patients who need to be seen the same day. Our providers see patients for a range of urgent but non-life-threatening concerns. During the visit, a provider can review symptoms, perform a basic exam, and discuss appropriate next steps. When needed, we may order basic lab testing or imaging available at the clinic.

While our clinic can evaluate many common urgent concerns, some situations require care in an emergency department. If a condition appears serious or requires services beyond what a clinic can provide, patients may be directed to a higher level of care.

Patients may visit the clinic for same-day evaluation of concerns such as sprains, fever, cuts, or other minor illnesses or injuries. During the visit, a provider can review symptoms, perform a basic exam, and discuss appropriate next steps. When needed, we may provide guidance on home care, order basic testing, or recommend follow-up care.

If you think you may be experiencing a heart attack, stroke, or another serious medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. For other immediate care needs, patients may walk in or contact our office to check availability.
